Technorati, a blogthing

November 16, 2008

Spurred on by a Globe and Mail article on the literary tradition in Iceland, which suggests that reading and writing will play a vital role in the small nation’s ability to respond to its overwhelming economic troubles, I decided to join Technorati. I was surprised and somewhat disheartened to see that there had not yet been response to Matthew Hart’s Iceland’s next saga: The wounded tiger’s tale.

Somehow blogging about the regeneration of Icelandic’s humanism and the continued legacy of its Althing (“all-thing,” or parliament) seemed important. Check out this history on the government’s official website.
