Audio/podcast: (mp3). This is a (rough) recording of a talk I gave at North Island College—Creative Collaborations as Critical Practices, “No really, What do you do?”—for the Fine Arts Speakers Series. It was billed as an “artist talk”—a genre for which I’m neither qualified nor entirely comfortable delivering.
In any case, it was fun and I am grateful to Linda Perron for organizing this series and inviting me to talk about my work. I’m also grateful to the students for the their thoughtful response and questions after the fact.
After the talk, I also had the pleasure of visiting Sara Vipond’s GEVA 410 group to discuss contemporary creative practice and cultural production with them.
