The Walrus Magazine seems to be doing something right. I got the Cities Issue (Jan/Feb 2008) in my stocking for Christmas and have just got around to reading my way through it.
I was particularly taken by John Lorinc’s article “The Aging City,” which looks at the changing, aging demographic and the impact on our urban landscapes. One of the most striking aspects of this shift is the move away from car culture and toward a new, radical reconsideration of where and how we live.
