tableware for introverts

Produced at the Wałbrzych Porcelain Factory in Wałbrzych, Poland in 2003, Tableware for Introverts edited the factory’s standard tableware molds in order to create new product. The plates are simply cut and reassembled to suggest that they have been folded inward, providing somewhat of a shield for the diner, and her food. This project aims to playfully renegotiate the psychological and social pressures of the communal dinner table.
