“It is tradition for the graduating students of the Emily Carr photo program to organize and exhibit their work into an external graduation show. We feel very strongly about this, our first academically-independent group exhibition—our inaugural display to the outside world of the work we have been compiling over the course of these four years. The organizing panel are united by a desire to present a professional, thoughtfully-curated selection of work by each graduating student. We are a body of individuals, with very distinct styles and aesthetics.”

Four Rooms is the annual Emily Carr photography program’s external grad show. It will be featuring the works of Roya Akbari, Chaya Bogorad, Patrick Campbell, Lindsay Dakin, Talya Florian, Tom Hsu, Adam Johannesson, Arseni Khamzin, Matt Savage, Tiffany Martin, Alexa Kirsten Stroth, Viviane Tisseur, Marta Wesselhoff and Ruth Skinner. These graduating students have put hours into organizing the show at The Waldorf Hotel, converting hotel rooms into individual gallery spaces.

The long-awaited show opens at 7:00PM on Friday, May 13th. The after-party is below in The Hideaway at 9:30PM.

This is something you don’t want to miss.
