To respond to the shift to online curriculum and to do our part to help “flatten the curve” of the COVID-19 virus transmission, the Writing Centre is moving its operations entirely online, effective Tuesday, Mar. 17. That means, if you book an appointment with the Writing Centre any time from now till the end of term (and yes, we’ll be open till the end of term as always), it will be an online appointment.
If you aren’t familiar with online appointments, they are as easy as our face to face appointments. Find out about the online interface here
This shift does mean, sadly, that we will not be offering drop-in appointments
for the rest of term; to make up for this, we will be adding more regular booked appointments in the coming days.
In the meantime, you can also stay connected with us through our social media, Instagram and Facebook
UPDATED MARCH 30:
We are offering “Ask a Tutor” on our social media where you can post your questions for tutors to answer. It’s like drop-in without having to drop by! Look for the post with the “Ask a Tutor” graphic and post your question there.
To meet for weekly creative writing, we will be running our Wordsmiths of Emily Carr group online every Thursday from 4-5:30PM.
A minute long video on how to use our online booking system.
