My main reason for bringing a camera to my daughter’s skating practice practice was to document those wonderful moments of her learning something new, but I admit I also felt the need to photograph the seats.

This CP Brochure, from the late 50s/early 60s was found with my TransCanada Airlines brochure. As you can see, it illustrates Canadian Pacific’s apparent need to dominate earth-, land- and water-travel.

I recently found a Vancouver website that documents the neon signs from the mid 20th century throughout the city. The signs are a great example of visual culture and it’s relationship to material and consumer culture.
